Bharatiya Chatra Sansad, a Pune-based organization in collaboration with MIT School of Governance honored our Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri. Nara Chandrababu Naidu in their 6th annual session with the “Aadarsh Mukhyamantri Puraskar” A model CM Award.
In the ceremony of Bharatiya Chatra Sansad, the chief Sansad stated that the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu became the icon for youth and for good governance and can proudly count as one of the seven living wonders of the world. Then Mr. Sansad felicitated Mr. Naidu for steering the new state of Andhra Pradesh since bifurcation at a critical juncture and for being a role model to the youth of the country. As there was a large gathering of the student community, Chandrababu Naidu admired and applauded Mr. Sansad for his exemplary work and hailed him for being motivational and promoting youth into value-based politics. The Chief Minister has opined that India with its strong democratic system, favorable demographic composition, Rule of Law, abundant natural resources, and large market potential has a great future and would become No.1 by 2050. The youth have to take lead and mold the direction of the Future in the country.
Chandrababu Naidu recalled how he joined politics from the same campus and stated that the youth must show interest in politics so that the decision-making system of Indian politics will definitely take a leap and may definitely be good for society. So the youth should come forward and can proudly change the destiny of the political process in the country. He also lamented that only 25 percent of youth are voting against 67 percent of general voting which is not suitable for the society and for the betterment of the country.
The Former Chief Minister felt that the process of the 1991 economic reform might result in a good economy, and care must be taken for the reduction of economic inequalities throughout the society. Later he explained the development initiatives undertaken in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He then pointed out and focused on the role of technology in establishing transparency in governance and focusing on quick results and commended the success that can be pulled from using technology in the Ration, distributing pensions, and many of the other welfare schemes effectively. For these words of wisdom, he received a massive cheer from the youth as well as from the student community. He also announced the TDP’s Government plan which will provide 10 to 15 MBPS connectivity to every household, through Fibre Grid, at a reasonable price for all backgrounds of people in the state of Andhra Pradesh within the next six months.
He also established a world-class institution at Amaravati to cater to the needs of national and international students in partnership with the TDP Government of Andhra Pradesh and welcomed the MIT School of Governance management.
