ACNH Tips: Everything You'll Need To Build Three New Homes In One Day from Hedda Chapman's blog

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has finally made its way to the Nintendo Switch, and it couldn't have come at a better time. This laid-back island life sim is a welcome respite from all of the anxiety-inducing coronavirus news that has been making the rounds, and it's a great way to pass the time when you're stuck at home. In the course of your first week, after you've completed the construction of your home, the Museum, the Nook's Cranny store, and the layout of a bridge, Tom Nook will approach you and ask you to perform yet another favor. For the future residents, you'll need to choose three plots of land, and then construct several interior and exterior items for each of the three homes.
Listed below is a step-by-step guide on how to go about it, as well as a checklist of all of the materials you'll need to make in order to construct each item:

Each plot necessitates the construction of six ACNH items, three of which must be interior and three of which must be exterior. While you're still at Resident Services, put together a simple workbench and bring it with you so that you can create while you're on the road between the three building sites. Interior items will be placed in a box near each plot, while exterior items should be set up just outside the construction tent, as shown in the diagram.

Due to the large amount of wood required, completing this project may take more than one day or may necessitate the use of a Nook Miles Voucher to travel off island. In addition to Iron Nuggets, you'll be looking for all three types of wood (wood, softwood, and hardwood), as well as other items. In addition, you'll want to keep whatever native fruit you have on hand rather than selling it for a period of time. Attempt to avoid cutting down trees and destroying rocks on your own island (for us, this meant oranges).

In addition to giving you the recipe for the Ladder, which will allow you to explore new territories on your island after Tom Nook has asked you to find the plots of land and build the items, he will also give you the recipe for finding the plots of land and building the items with free ACNH bells. There will be more trees and some new rocks to mine when you get there. Make sure to check your storage space at home in case you've been hoarding excess wood and other materials rather than selling them. We've listed all 18 of the items you'll need to make below, along with the materials you'll need to put them together, so you won't have to keep opening your Nook Phone to check on progress.
