This week I came across a new survey printed by FlexJobs¹ that exposed 48% of unemployed work seekers are discouraged in their work search because they are not finding the right jobs to utilize to. That study also indicated that 47% are actively seeking external their current career to get employment, 85% are willing to have a spend cut in order to secure a job, and 40% have applied to careers they think they're overqualified for.

I ask that issue since I came across these figures shocking. For the past almost a year we've gone through the "prospect shortage" and what we'd reference as a "buyer's market." Candidates have the upper hand. They've the capacity to negotiate for a higher wage, they IT companies in dubai are able to simply accept incentives they typically wouldn't be offered. Right... ?

These numbers from the job seekers perspective appear to color a very different picture then a picture that has been decorated by organizations choosing through the job shortage. Where is the remove?Could it be job explanations perhaps not being published to fit the proper audience? Are key words missing from job explanations that job seekers are looking for? Are careers being placed on websites where the best candidate isn't looking? Maybe it's any of these points and more.

As I think about the candidate lack nevertheless and aspect in these numbers, a very important factor is clear to me: Perhaps it's time and energy to change the shortage from the "applicant's" perspective. Is the main purpose there's a shortage since job seekers aren't finding the task they are seeking? If you ask me, it appears as though this may be part of the case. Therefore, how do we set jobs before the individuals that are looking for YOUR job? One method to do this really is by going for a stage back again to rethink strategy. It's time for you to believe like an applicant.

Who will be the perfect individual for your position? If you're this person, what might you intend to see in the task explanation? What're key words that applicant might be searching for? What have you got to provide that related functions don't? Why would somebody desire to perform in this role at this provider? What sort of person could be thrilled about this prospect?
