Diablo 4's mobile edition of D2R Items hasn't fared much better either, with just an 0.5 rating by the user after more than 4.000 reviews. Some might argue that it's much better than the PC version, however, which, when ranked by scores from users, is one of the most sloppy of the 18.053 games on Metacritic. For comparison, the other games featured towards the tail end of the list include infamously unstable WWE 2K20. Metal Gear Survive and Rockstar's wildly controversy-ridden Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy The Ultimate Edition.

It's not all negative news for Blizzard however, as the publisher announcing recently that Diablo 4 has enjoyed the most successful launch in the history of the series. Naturally, it helps that it's a completely free to play video game. The fact that more than 10 million people have already downloaded it will be welcomed nonetheless. It's the same for the massive sums of revenue it is believed to have generated, with appfigures saying that the game generated roughly $6.5 million in its first week on mobile.

In light of the fact that it will cost players somewhere about $110.000 to fully prepare for Diablo Diablo 4. the game making such a large amount of revenue should be no surprise. Even so, the fact that PvP combat is Pay to Win hasn't gone over very well with many players who have played the series before and has many people wondering what kind of monetization Diablo 2 Resurrected Items strategy will be included in Diablo 4 when it finally is released on the shelves.
