A remastering of an older RTS game isn't likely to become the blockbuster success that Activision desired, World of Warcraft: Reforged was not a top major priority of the corporation and consequently, it wasn't able to get the money needed to accomplish the goals that the developers initially stated they would do. The team of developers were at a loss and it took months to update just one World of Warcraft's many levels to be up to date. Ineffective communication and poor management affected the morale of the team according to the report.
