As Manchester United continues to overhaul their defense, it looks like they'll be making changes in the center of the field as well as on the flanks.
According to the Express, a British publication, "United are looking to send flanker Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Al Nasr (Saudi Arabia), but the player wants to stay and compete," on July 27.
Al Nasr is well known for being Cristiano Ronaldo's team. They boast an expensive foreign roster that includes Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Aymeric Laporte, and Alex Telles. They are second only to Al Hilal.
However, the club continues to search for players in the European leagues. With the support of the Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund (PIF), they have several candidates on their list.
Right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is front and center. Wan-Bissaka joined United from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2019. He came for a hefty fee of £50 million.
However, as the season progressed, the outside world became less and less enamored with Wan-Bissaka. Wan-Bissaka's pace has dropped significantly in the course of his defensive engagements, and he's often lost in one-on-ones.
Eventually, a loan became a possibility in the winter transfer window in January. For Wan-Bissaka, who is contracted to United until June 2025, the fight for survival was a priority. He also had to be aware of the intentions of manager Eric ten Haag, who had started to sell Luke Shaw.
Van Gaal is preparing to overhaul his entire defense. With the exception of Georginio Wijnaldum, Shaw, and Lissandro Martinez, all of them will change jerseys in the winter or summer transfer window. Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane are all likely to be out of the club in the summer.
Defensive midfielders like Donny van 먹튀검증 der Beek (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Hannibal Mebri (Sevilla) have already left on loan. Wan-Bissaka is in the midst of a slow transition.
The media said: "There is a demand for Wan-Bissaka. The problem is that Wan-Bissaka is a negative for a move to Saudi Arabia. The plan is for United to put on a show and bring in loan signings from the flanks in the winter transfer window. If Wan-Bissaka is not sorted out, the winter transfer window is likely to be a quiet one.
